What I collect

When you use the slipper order form (hosted by Formspree), I receive your name, email address, optional phone number, optional delivery address, your slipper choices (size, colours, grip soles, decoration, socks), optional notes you add in the notes field (which may include gift instructions or other requests), and a structured summary of your order in the hidden design field. Formspree may also record technical data needed to deliver the message (for example IP address) as described in their privacy policy.

Lawful basis

I process your information to take steps at your request before a contract (handling your order enquiry) and to perform the contract with you when you confirm an order. I rely on these purposes under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b).

Why I use it

To respond to your order, confirm price including postage, arrange payment, make your slippers, and deliver them to you.

How long I keep it

I keep order correspondence while needed to fulfil the order and for reasonable business records (typically up to seven years for accounting where applicable). You can ask for erasure when I no longer need the data.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability where UK GDPR applies. Contact [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Sharing & processors

I am the data controller for Tom Best Craft. Form submissions are processed by Formspree (processor) to deliver emails to me; Formspree may use infrastructure outside the UK. See their privacy policy. I do not sell your personal data.
